Sarah Ferguson, who hasn't served as a working Royal for nearly three decades following her divorce from Andrew, has released a significant statement regarding her future beyond Royal Lodge.

King Charles has instructed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his former sister-in-law Fergie to leave their luxurious Royal Lodge home following new disclosures about their extended connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Leaked correspondence showed that Andrew and Fergie had maintained contact with the convicted paedophile billionaire for longer than they had previously acknowledged.

Located close to Windsor Castle, the former couple had lived in the 30-room, Grade II-listed property for many years. However, as controversy surrounding them intensified, they consented to hand over the keys. Departing Royal Lodge means Fergie is now seeking alternative accommodation, whilst Andrew is prepared to move to a property at Sandringham, the monarch's privately owned Norfolk estate.

However, her spokesman has dismissed claims that Sarah might relocate to a granny annexe at Princess Beatrice's residence, informing PEOPLE magazine: "She is assessing a number of options currently, and no final decision has been made.

"Contrary to reports, she has never asked for a property or any provision for herself," an insider revealed. "She will continue to forge an independent life."

A second source familiar with Sarah's situation confirmed she will secure her own accommodation and is "going to move forward independently".

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has reportedly declined to move to Sandringham and also turned down her daughter Princess Beatrice's offer of assistance.

Previously, it was suggested that Beatrice might step in to provide a home for her mother by offering a renovated "cattle shed" on her Cotswolds estate as a potential "granny annexe". The refurbished outbuilding, complete with new doors and windows, is situated separately from the main six-bedroom house and features its own entrance.

Another possibility would see Sarah relocating to Portugal, where she could live at her other daughter, Princess Eugenie's, property in an upscale area dubbed the "Hamptons of Europe". Eugenie owns a £3.6 million estate within the exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, rubbing shoulders with A-list celebrities such as Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Michael Fassbender, and Scarlett Johansson.

Meanwhile, reports emerged that Prince Andrew is seeking a "substantial" house on the Sandringham Estate, complete with staff, including a cook, gardener, housekeeper, driver, and police security. The controversy surrounding Sarah has also impacted her professional life.

Her forthcoming children's book has allegedly been "pulped" and withdrawn from sale by her publisher.

The book 'Flora and Fern: Kindness Along the Way' was initially set to hit the shelves on October 9, but its release was postponed to November 20. However, it has now been removed from publishing schedules, is no longer up for sale at major retailers, and all related author events and book signings have been quietly cancelled.
