Ex-radio presenter Scott Mills has been spotted for the first time since he was axed from BBC Radio 2's flagship breakfast show. The 53-year-old DJ was sacked from the corporation last month after 27 years on the airwaves following an investigation of "serious sexual offences" against a boy under 16 between 1997 and 2000. He was subsequently cleared of these allegations. Since his departure, DJ Gary Davies has been standing in on the breakfast show while BBC bosses work tirelessley behind the scenes to find a long-term replacement.
Now, Mills has broken his cover for the first time, walking his dog through the streets of London with his partner after the pair returned to the UK following a two-week holiday abroad. Photographers snapped the pair on their morning walk, where Mills looked downcast in a black waterproof raincoat which he layered over a grey T-shirt.
