
The Met Office has issued new weather alerts for rain across parts of the UK. The yellow weather warnings are in place for areas in Wales, South West England, West Midlands, London and South East England on Monday and Tuesday.
The forecaster is warning of widespread disruption as heavy rain hits the nation. They say that flooding is possible in some areas while residents should expect travel delays. Some train and bus services may also be cancelled while isolated areas could be hit by power cuts.

In Wales, the warning covers Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaena dn the Vale of Glamorgan. It is in place until 12am until 3pm on Monday.
